LIMITED PARTNERSHIP (“C.V.”)
The limited partnership can also be entered into by natural persons or by legal entities. One or more of the incorporators will be appointed as managing partner in the notarial deed by which the stipulations of the C.V. are recorded. This managing partner is the person who acts on behalf of the C.V. This is in contrast to the so-called “silent partners”; the silent partners only provide for capital and should not involve in the management of the partnership. Should a silent partner involve in the management, this will change his liability. In this matter and also in respect of additional aspects of entering into a C.V. the civil law notary can provide information and advice.
